The wait is almost over. The new album "The Becoming" is finished and is currently being mastered in Poland by Mirek Worek of Vmirus Mastering in Bielsko-Biala. The album was recorded at Spheric Reality Studios in Marin County, CA, produced and mixed by Jarek Tatarek.

Re-release of Astharoth's debut album out in September!
Metal Mind Productions presents Astharoth, one of the best thrash metal bands from Poland, and a re-release of their debut album - “Gloomy Experiments”. The band‘s music was a mirror of the band’s fascination with technical thrash metal of those days, and was inspired by Bay Area thrash gods such as Testament, Exodus and Death Angel, as well as German leaders of the pack: Kreator, Sodom, Assassin, and Mekong Delta.
Jarek Tatarek: „Gloomy Experiments was recorded during the Summer of 1989. It was an exciting time, following our triumph at the Metal Battle '89 and our performance at the Metalmania Festival '89. Astharoth was busy playing various summer festivals all over Poland, but as soon as we were done, we traveled to Poznan to record the debut LP. The album includes a guest appearance by Litza from the band Turbo. His backup vocals can be heard on "Speed Of Light".

Metal Mind Productions will re-release “Gloomy Experiments” on 7th September 2009 in Europe and 6th October in USA. The new digipak edition will be limited to 2000 copies. Digitally remastered using 24-Bit process. Bonus material contains a collection of all material recorded in USA between 1991-1994. The songs were written and recorded after the re-location of Astharoth's guitar team to San Francisco Bay Area. The long time fascination with Bay Area thrash resulted in a more approachable material, although dissonant sounds of Voivod were still strongly present. The songs show undying dedication to technical thrash, and unwillingness to compromise the band's music style.

Arcane Dimension goes second, first is Nightsage, headlining is Saints of Ruin. With special guest DJ Deathboy, spinning the best gothic & death rock all night on the old skool vynil. This will be a supremely fun event, and we will be playing a brand spankin new song for ya with some new stage props, because you can never have enough stage props :P
This may be your last chance to see us for a little while, we are ferociously trying to finish the new album and so it may not be till next year that we play another gig.

We are hard at work recording a follow up to 'In Ecstasy & Sorrow'.
There 9 brand new tracks of heavy, atmospheric metal. We hope to be able to make the first three track available by late August. We will also be looking for a bass player and a drummer to complete a live line up.
